ICTA Joins the Official Presentation of Georgia’s EJOI 2026 National Team
A strong technology sector is built long before the first job offer. It begins when young people are given the training, challenge, and international exposure needed to turn exceptional ability into lasting expertise.
On June 26, ICTA attended the official presentation of Georgia’s National Team for the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics at Business and Technology University.
The selected students will represent Georgia at EJOI 2026, taking place in Kaunas, Lithuania, from July 24 to 30.
Representing Georgia Through Problem-Solving
The European Junior Olympiad in Informatics brings together some of Europe’s most talented young programmers for an international competition centered on algorithms, computational thinking, and complex problem-solving.
Selection for the national team is both a significant personal achievement and an opportunity to represent Georgia’s growing technological potential on the European stage.

ICTA’s newly appointed Chairman, Temo Maghradze, addressed participants during the ceremony.

The Georgian Tech Olympiads Hub, established at BTU with the support of its partners, brings together the selection, preparation, and international participation of Georgia’s young technology talent.
Initiatives of this kind extend beyond individual competitions. They contribute to a stronger pipeline of future engineers, researchers, and technology leaders while developing the capabilities Georgia needs to compete internationally.
