ICTA Brings the AI Readiness Debate to Change Inspire 2026

What Is AI Changing in the Technology Industry?

Artificial intelligence is no longer a side conversation for technology companies. It is changing what clients expect, how engineering teams operate, which capabilities are becoming more valuable, and how companies compete.

On July 1, ICTA brought that discussion to Change Inspire 2026, organized by HT Solutions in Tbilisi. The panel addressed a deliberately direct question: what is AI changing in the technology industry—and how ready are companies for what comes next?

From Hype to Operating Reality

The discussion examined AI through the experience of companies already delivering, transforming, and competing in a market increasingly shaped by the technology.

Panelists explored how international client expectations are evolving, how engineering practices are being restructured, which skills are becoming more important, and what organizational challenges companies face as they move from experimentation to implementation.

Five Industry Perspectives

The discussion was moderated by ICTA Board Member Natia Sirbiladze and brought together five technology leaders:

  • George Chogovadze — Engineering Practice Director, Lineate
  • Nelly Gvadzabia — Subsidiary Manager, HiQo Solutions
  • Nino Gagua — Managing Director, LeverX Georgia
  • Viktor Isaev — Head of Development Department, Devexperts Georgia
  • Levan Asatiani — Head of .NET, EPAM Georgia

Their perspectives reflected different engineering environments, business models, and stages of AI adoption, creating a grounded view of how the transformation is unfolding across the sector.

Readiness Is Broader Than Adoption

The discussion made one point clear: introducing AI tools is only one part of the transition. Companies must also reconsider delivery models, workforce capabilities, leadership decisions, and where AI can create measurable value for clients.

The real question is therefore not whether organizations will use AI, but whether they are building the technical and organizational foundations needed to use it effectively.

Looking Ahead

AI is already reshaping Georgia’s technology industry. ICTA will continue to place the questions created by this transformation on the sector agenda—bringing companies together to turn individual experience into shared insight and clearer priorities for the industry.

Thank you to the speakers for an open and forward-looking discussion, to the participants for their engagement, and to HT Solutions for the partnership.
